Food journal

Good morning everyone. Its 9:40am and I am drinking water this morning because I have to cut back on the caffeine. I drink coffee almost everyday and I need to cut back to help lower my blood pressure.

Yesterday I started keeping a food journal to track what I have been eating. I even set a goal to not eat any sweets for 7 days (wish me luck). Already I can tell this is a great idea. This journal will help me realize how much and how often I’m eating. It also helps to make sure I’m eating the right stuff. I personally dont want to log a bunch of junk in my journal.

I was a little hesitant to do this at first because I thought it was silly. If we’re honest though most of us have gotten so confused about what we should be eating that we could use a system to get things back in order. I want to change to a lifestyle based around foods good for my body. I want to have the occasional treat, but I want to make myself understand I can’t survive on junk. Its killing me literally.

This won’t be easy but I know it can be done. I look forward to sharing good news of my progress with everyone soon.
